Issue 07: - Who Is Fooling Who ?
“To her you’re just a play thing; she’ll make you out to be a king, then she’ll set fire to your throne.” – Anon
Despite your disposition to view my opinion through filters of suspicion, this is nothing more than about analyzing reality. Feminism reverses gender roles so it affects men within themselves, how they view themselves and how they interact with women, but it also affects how women treat men. Feminism makes women masculine and menace whilst men meek and submissive, it says it doesn’t believe in gender roles, but this is an illusion, its practical effect is to actually reverse them by means of social engineering and bring about an awkward, unreasonable and stubborn sort of female supremacist, which in actual fact makes women feel fed up and anxious, resulting in all time low happiness for the female gender.
Women are given a mixed message, they’re socialized to go against their base instincts, shamed for being motherly rather than the feminist mandated “career woman” and as a result many find themselves in a state of utter conflict, confused what the path to happiness for them and all their intricacies really entails.
THIS MUST BE FRUSTRATING. Imagine being wrong either way, it must be tough.
*Who's fooling who* in my perspective, both feminist and patriarchy was meant to empower the perpetrators and cause suffering to the victim using gender as the basis by attaching the abuse to a generally accepted theory, be it feminism or patriarchy...
ReplyDeleteYes. Valid point. Both are to empower perpetrators. But why is is that its the Patriarchy side that gets to be attacked!?? Why is it that " feminists" are less seen as perpetrators? Both are perpetrators, it's the patriarchy side that gets pushed under the bridge, nevermind the feminist who let it to happen right!
DeleteNo one is fooling. Identification with roles and gender is the one that creates a lot of default projections, conception or misconception. If people could embrace humanity irrespective of these roles and gender we would be at ease.
ReplyDeleteI Stan 💪. We " would" be at ease, But we are not.
DeleteWooow dis is sooo good...that part that says something like women are sometimes filled with mixed messages... I've noticed that sometimes dis feminism is being over used...now it's like the ultimate goal is to be above man and not equal to them...we should just embrace humanity despite having to point out roles and gender
ReplyDeleteHi. You're officially part of the Alteram Partem family.
DeleteThank you.
I don't think the foreseeable future will be favourable to men. Slowly men are being disarmed. There is by the day a rising plague of negativity against men. I honestly applaud the women who are coming out and voicing their concerns about gender inequality, GBV and domestic abuse among other matters. However this is all that there is to talk about these days. Relationships are no longer about love but what can the female party benefit in some cases. It's easy to get a man to comply by playing a simple card, "I am the woman". It's sad how the man has so much limited power in the relationship, and shrinking by the day.
ReplyDeleteI wish in these movements which aim to protect the female party, there could be discussions on how to be a better female partner, women can abuse power too, and men are aware but there's nothing they can do. This also goes for all men who have no idea of what they are doing in the relationship.
